Christiansborg Castle

Christiansborg Castle on Slot Holmen in central Copenhagen is home to the Danish parliament, the Folketing, for the Supreme Court and the Prime Ministry. Moreover, using the royal house still several parts of Christiansborg, which served as King's main residence in Copenhagen until 1794.

The castle burned down and been rebuilt twice and the current Christiansborg still included parts from the three entries of the castle. The buildings around Ride course, stables, riding house and court theater from the first Christiansborg, the same applies Thorvaldsen Museum, which was originally a farm wagon, but now appears completely different. From the second Christiansborg include Osu Castle Church the only whole building is back. There are still some details and parts that have been used over different locations.
