Bad Gastein is a town and ski resort in Austria which is about 1000 m.
In winter skiing draws many tourists to the city, and in the summer is hiking the main activity. In and around Bad Gastein, there are several facilities for both cross country and downhill skiing.

Bad Gastein hosted the Alpine World Championships in 1958, and until 1988 the city regularly hosts World Cup races. The city is located at the top of the Gastein valley, within the state of the state of Salzburg, where Salzburg is the capital.

Bad Gastein is also an international favorite with inspired skigjester worldwide. Italians, Scandinavians, Dutch, Austrians and British are the largest guest units. The town has over 4,000 residents, which creates a convivial atmosphere with many guests returning year after year. Bad Gastein has the best conditions for a successful ski vacation; snow conditions skiing right from 2700 m to one of the Alps' biggest differences in altitude (1500 m) and a modern lift system that takes you all the 1140 meters high without lift switch.

Bad Gastein is a real spa resort with hot springs that are used in our spa area. Near the Hotel Salzburger Hof is the newly renovated water park Felsentherme with temperate outdoor pool (36 degrees), waterfall, slide and a 1000 square meter sauna landscape. Pool water from hot underground springs replaced every day and do not chlorine addition.
