Noosa Heads is one of the three major centers in the Noosa region on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 136 km north of Brisbane. Noosa River adjacent to the city and the headland around Noosa National Park boundaries on the other side. The two other nearby Tewantin and Noosa's forstdene Junction.

Noosa Heads is the tourist heart of Noosa, with many restaurants and hotels. The main street is Hastings Street, which lies directly behind the beach. Buses to other locations in the Sunshine Coast goes from Noosa Heads.

Noosa Heads has a population of koalas as one can see in and around Noosa National Park. The city also has the Noosa Lions Park that is used for several major public events, including the Noosa Triathlon, Noosa food and Wine Festival, Noosa and Noosa Winter Festival Classic Car Show. Noosa Heads the main attraction is the beaches, with surfing contest the Noosa Festival of Surfing as this year's big event. Noosa Heads has several grade II listed areas such as Halse Lodge. The city has an internationally recognized shopping area where you can eat fresh seafood and other delicacies. Nearby you will find a well Cooloola National Park, Noosa River, the Everglades and the world's largest sand island, Fraser Iceland.
